Jack the Building, 2007
Jack The Building was an installation comprised of plush sculptures, custom merchandise and prints depicting the Jaques building in West Lafayette, IN (USA,) as a depressed cartoon character. Under the slogan “Buildings have feelings too,”  an expectation campaign including a myspace website and a series of public advertisement was launched weeks before the exhibition, disseminating a phantasmagoric presence of the building as a living entity. This piece commented on the relationship — or lack thereof — between lifeless architecture and its provisional content.

Prints, plush sculptures, installation. Dimensions variable.
